Getting started
Do I need coding or website skills?
Not at all. If you can use Facebook, you can use HaatBazaar. Every step is explained in plain language.
Do I need money or a card to start?
No. The free trial needs no card. Pick a plan later if you like it.
How long does it take to open a shop?
Sign up with your name, phone and shop name, add a few products, then publish. Most sellers are done in a few minutes.
Can I do everything from my phone?
Yes. Both the dashboard and the shop are made for phones, and you can take product photos right from your phone.
Prices and payment
How do I pay for a plan?
Send the amount by bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank and submit the transaction ID. Our team checks it and activates your plan.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Pick a plan and your shop keeps running. Your products and orders are not deleted.
Can I change plans later?
Any time. The new plan starts once the payment is confirmed, and all your products, orders and buyers stay.
What if I reach my product or order limit?
The dashboard tells you when you are close. Upgrade to add more; nothing is lost.
Are there hidden costs?
No. The plan price is everything. You set delivery charges yourself and collect them from buyers.
Is my data deleted if my plan expires?
No. An expired shop becomes read-only: you can see everything but not change it, and buyers can't place new orders. Renew and it works as before.
Orders and delivery
How do buyers pay?
Buyers order with cash on delivery and pay when the parcel arrives. Online payment isn't available yet; we'll announce it here when it is.
How are delivery charges set?
Enter your inside-Dhaka and outside-Dhaka charges in settings. At checkout the charge for the buyer's area is added to the total automatically.
What should I do about a fake order?
Mark it as fake. The stock comes back, and the order no longer counts toward your monthly limit or your sales. You can block the buyer at the same time.
Is it connected to a courier?
Not yet. Print the order slip, hand the parcel to your courier, and move the order to the next step.
Can buyers check their order status?
Yes. After ordering, buyers get a link that shows whether the order is confirmed, shipped or delivered.
Shop and design
Can I use my own domain (.com)?
Connecting your own domain on selected plans is coming soon. Check the pricing page for which plans will include it.
Will buyers see half-finished design changes?
No. Changes stay in a draft. Buyers see the new design only after you preview and publish it.
Can my shop be shown in English?
Yes. The shop and the dashboard work in both Bangla and English.
Data and safety
Can anyone else see my buyers' details?
No. Each shop's data is kept separate. Only members of your team, according to their role, can see your shop's data.
Do I have to give helpers full access?
No. Managers handle products, design and reports; staff only see orders and move them along. Plans, billing and the team stay with the owner.
Could someone change a price on their phone and order cheaper?
No. Prices and totals sent from a buyer's phone are never trusted. The server works out prices, delivery and the total, and checks stock.
